"Over the past eighteen months its fantastic to see how on every visit the entire schools and their children get smarter and smarter I passed a comment about how well kept the children were and how well they had looked after their uniform and was amazed when the teacher told me that these were their old uniform as the new ones were still two weeks for being issued. I was amazed. They had been so well cared for and maintained for a year. All of the classrooms were newly minted with inspirational message and overtime I stopped and looked at the work the children had done, I was so impressed. Some of them were writing better English than i see in the schools that my children attend in the UK. Through our own Foundation, the Bennett family is delighted to support this amazing project and are delighted to be associated with it. Well done to everyone involved, you really are making the world a better and more equal place."

"As I reflect upon my short stay in Jaipur, my visit to Gyan Vidya Mandir School was positively a highlight and learning experience for me. As I got acquainted with the activities of Jagriti and the remarkable the work you have done in bringing up the school in the deprived area of the city, I realized that there is something like "hope" being given active connotation. You have blended the people who have succeeded in life as also young people who have just completed their academic career and have stepped into the real world. This combination is formidable and I salute you for the time you take for giving shape to the hope and the future.
To say that I was impressed by what I saw and heard about the total spectrum of Jagriti service programs and adventures, it will be an understatement. One is overwhelmed and deeply touched by the commitment, conviction & compassion all mixed together to produce dynamic march forward. This may be a drop in the ocean but such a drop can create big effect and can truly involve the whole community and the nation."Padam Shri Raja Saboo

"The Dravyavati River Project is pleased to be associated with Jagriti because of the excellent work that they do in educating children from disadvantaged backgrounds in Jaipur. Their holistic approach, providing school uniforms, facilities and teachers, as well as a nutritional meal, sustains the children beyond mere classroom teaching. It provides dignity, hope and a moral compass which might otherwise be denied to these innocent children. We hope that our small contribution towards water and sanitation facilities at some of the schools will further their ambition to improve the lives of poor children in Jaipur."

"Education and employment are key focus areas for all of us as these are directly related to nation building and society's upliftment. Inspite of limited resources, Jagriti foundation has done a great job in both of these areas. Jagriti foundation is now supporting 12 schools with more than 2400 children through its various initiatives which is a great achievement in a limited time. Foundation has supported employment for a number of women by providing vocational trainings in various areas. Other initiatives that Jagriti covers include Jagriti antim darshanika, eye donation, blood donation, body donation and cleaning drives, all of which help improve us as a society. I am personally extremely impressed by Mr Jajoo's commitment to this initiative and hope he becomes an inspiration for the next generations as well."

"I am so proud and gratified in being associated with this noble venture of Mr. J.K. Jajoo who has led ‘Jagriti’ in achieving what it set for years before. Presently the Organization is catering to the basic requirements of approximately 2400 children by providing them with food, clothes, shelters etc. and giving them the grooming they were deprived of, which will eventually make these young and happy faces competitive enough to become independent in future. It is also remarkable to acknowledge the other social works done by ‘Jagriti’ by maintaining its own blood banks, eye banks, providing world class quality of mortuary services and vans etc."

" 'Had se aage bhi ek had hai '- is how you would best describe the efforts taken by team Jagriti in the education of children . The untiring effort of the entire team to first identify the locality which needs a good school, then to get the right infrastructure in place so that these schools are comparable if not better than a lot of private schools , to get committed teachers and then to provide free education with most importantly a lot of love and care is key to what sets apart a Jagriti school from any other school. The passion and time commitment which Jaggi Bhaiya and every team member brings about is priceless. And most importantly when you see the visible positive changes in the kids who are attending a Jagriti school you know that they could not be in safer and more loving hands."

"Education plays major role in growth of any nation and that is why RIGHT TO EDUCATION is must for each born child.Children of Underprivileged class are finding extremely difficult and not getting equal opportunity and are deprived of better education for financial reason.Several NGO are active to help underprivileged children and I feel Jagriti is on top of them. In short span of time they have adopted 10 schools – AUR IN SCHOOLS KA NAAK NAKSHA HI BADAL DIYA. The facility and standard of these schools is very much comparable to any other standard schools. Any one giving financial contribution to this NGO is confident that their financial aid is in correct hands and each penny is being utilized efficiently for the right purpose."

"Heartiest thanks to Shri JK Jajoo Ji for associating me and my family to 'Jagriti '. It has given me a platform to serve underprivileged children by building a school ' Rajkiya Balika Parathamik Vidyalaya, Sahakar Marg ' in the fond memory of my beloved father Shri Sardarmal Ji Umraomal Ji Dhadda.Being the guardian of this school, it gives a great sense of satisfaction rather attachment as my daughter Neha Dhadda under Jagriti is taking care of this school. This school is a medium through which I have taken a small step for the upliftment of society..."

"It is amazing to see Jagriti gain a higher platform every year and expand their services to those in need. I have been there when Jagriti initially started and I have been so impressed with their work that I made my daughter join it as well. In this cruel world Jagriti adds a touch of humanity that we should not only be a part of it but also celebrate with love and respect. I have had the pleasure of knowing the director of Jagriti personally and I am certain that these 15 years of celebration is just the beginning of Jagriti. It has the potential and the passion for humanity to touch greater heights, expand and take on a lot more years."

I have been closely watching the working of Jagriti for the last few years. It has done commendable work in every field chosen by it. It is a highly dedicated NGO with deep concern for the downtrodden. It has adopted 17 schools in and around the urban slums of Jaipur and Ajmer. The adoption of schools by Jagriti involves reconstruction/ repair of school buildings;
Installation of furniture, Drinking water facility with RO System.Toilet Blocks are also constructed, separate for Boys, Girls and Teachers.Computer labs and computer Science Labs are also provided. Provision for Audio-Visual rooms, Art , Music & Craft rooms. School dresses, stationary, bags etc are also providedOne notices a total metamorphosis of the Schools adopted by Jagriti. More than 4000 underprivileged children are getting value based education absolutely free of cost from Jagriti.
Jagriti has also done remarkable work in empowering the underprivileged girls and women of slums by giving them free vocational training in stitching, beauty-parlour etc through market focused livelihood programs. Till now over 2000 women have benefited from this programme and are now able to contribute financially to their families and thus earn a dignified life
A Mobile mortuary is maintained by Jagriti for use, free of cost. The dead bodies can be kept in these transparent units. This equipment can keep the dead body at -10°C for days together without being decomposed.
At present Jagriti has 12 such units and 3 tempo-vehicles to carry them. Till now over 8000 families have benefited from this facility.
We have many NGOs, but few can match the dedication and compassion for the poor, as Jagriti has consistently demonstrated at the grassroot level.PN Bhandari
